When GB Catalyst s.r.l. collects, processes and stores personal data, it complies with all legal requirements and in particular the provisions of the EU Data Protection Regulation (European Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data 2016/679, GDPR) and all regulations on the protection of applicable personal data.

  2. Interested in the treatment

    The categories of interested parties are users who use the service on the site app.gbcatalyst.eu (hereinafter referred to as the "Site").

  3. Legal basis of the processing

    The personal data managed within the Site are processed with reference to these legal bases:

    • Execution of contractual/pre-contractual measures;
    • Legal obligations.
  4. Purpose of the treatment

    The personal data collected by the Site are processed to provide the requested service and for the following purposes:

    1. Correct management of requests from interested parties. Interested parties who access the Site have the opportunity to propose to GB Catalyst the quantities and types of goods/products in their possession. GB Catalyst, following an evaluation carried out by its sector experts, will - if necessary - honor the purchase of the goods and products uploaded by the interested parties. When the user registers on the Site, he will have to provide common personal data in order to correctly manage the work and in order to allow GB Catalyst to satisfy and/or process requests. The provision of data is mandatory; in the absence of this data, GB Catalyst will not be able to finalize the requests. The legal basis of this processing is the contractual and pre-contractual obligation. Some types of personal data can also be processed for:
      • Execute legal obligations, regulations, national and community regulations and in front of provisions issued by Authorities legitimated by the law;
      • To ascertain, exercise and / or defend a right in court.
    2. Administrative/fiscal purposes. The personal data collected from this Site are aimed at carrying out all administrative, accounting and tax activities relating to the requested service. The legal basis for this processing is the legal obligation.

    The provision of data for the previous purposes is mandatory; failure to provide personal data will prevent GB Catalyst from responding to the requested services and satisfying the requests of the interested parties.

  5. Collected data

    The use of this Site is reserved for visitors over the age of 18; the latter explicitly approve this privacy statement in relation to the methods and purposes described. The categories of data that are collected are the following:

    • Common personal data: by way of example, company name (if company), VAT number (if company), tax code, name, surname, address, postcode, municipality, province, country, telephone number, payment data, address email, website. The Site only manages technical cookies, which are necessary for the proper functioning of the service.
  6. Automated decision making and profiling

    The owner informs that the personal data provided by users for the purposes set out in point 4) of this information will not be processed by means of an automated process, nor will they be profiled.

  7. Processing methods

    The processing of personal data will be carried out primarily through the acquisition of data in electronic form with computer and manual methods that guarantee the confidentiality and security of the same. The data is collected according to the indications of the relevant legislation, with particular regard to the security measures provided for by the GDPR (article 32) with logic designed to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data. For this purpose, data processing is carried out by constantly applying technical and organizational security measures to protect against the risks of loss, illicit or incorrect use and any unauthorized access. The data will be processed exclusively for the requested purposes; will be stored in offices, possibly also in paper format in cabinets/shelving, as well as electronically archived in GB Catalyst's IT and corporate applications devices.

  8. Data retention period

    Personal data will be kept for a period not exceeding that necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and subsequently processed; they are also processed for a subsequent period:

    • Until the fulfillment of the purposes in question and also subsequently to fulfill all legal obligations, as well as kept within the terms established by current legislation;
    • Within the terms established by the legislation, even secondary, which requires the retention of data (for example the retention of tax/administrative data);
    • Within the period necessary to protect the rights of the data owner in the event of any disputes related to the provision of the service.

    In any case, the data relating to the supplies created and the user's registered profile are kept until the latter's request for cancellation.

  9. Data communication

    The data provided will be processed under the authority of the owner (and by the staff and collaborators appointed by them) and by data processors chosen on the basis of specific regulatory requirements. By way of example, the data can be processed by:

    • Owner/shareholders;
    • Personnel/collaborators authorized by the owner;
    • Duly appointed data processors and sub-processors;
    • Third party service providers who provide services on behalf of the owner (for example IT service providers or technical-IT assistance, system administrators, mailing list managers, logistics service providers);
    • Subjects who collaborate with the owner as independent data controllers;
    • All those subjects - including Public Authorities, Public Bodies, Supervisory and Control Bodies - who have access to data in accordance with the provisions of the law, regulations or community legislation, within the limits established by these rules;
    • Companies belonging to or related to GB Catalyst;
    • Administrative and Judicial Bodies and Authorities by virtue of legal obligations.

  10. User rights

    Pursuant to European Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR) and national legislation, the user can, according to the methods and within the limits established by current legislation, exercise the following rights (Articles from 15 to 22 of EU Reg. 679/2016):

    • Request confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning him (right of access);
    • Know its origin;
    • Receive intelligible communication;
    • Have information about the logic, methods and purposes of the processing;
    • Request the updating, rectification, limitation, integration, cancellation, transformation into anonymous form, blocking of data processed in violation of the law, including those no longer necessary for the pursuit of the purposes for which they were collected;
    • In cases of consent-based processing, receive the data provided to the owner at the cost of any support, in a structured and readable form by a data processor and in a format commonly used by an electronic device;

    • As well as, more generally, exercise all the rights that are recognized by the current provisions of the law.

  11. Transfer of data

    The transfer of user data can also take place in non-EU countries; however, should this transfer become necessary, the data will be transferred on the basis of an Adequacy Decision or through Standard Clauses / Contractual Clauses (EU Standard Contractual Clauses, EU SCC's), as well as through Binding Corporate Rules. In the absence of an Adequacy Decision, adequate guarantees, or Binding Corporate Rules, the transfer of personal data to a third country or an international organization is permitted in accordance with Article 49 of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
